Senior Mechanical Fabrication Engineer

Job Brief

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Fabrication Engineer to lead and support fabrication projects from design through to installation. You will coordinate with vendors, manage project schedules, supervise fabrication activities, and ensure the delivery of high-quality fabricated products aligned with technical and budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to plan and deliver fabrication projects on schedule
• Estimate project costs and define labor, material, and scheduling requirements
• Research vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage material procurement
• Supervise fabrication activities and monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues
• Support and oversee the installation process, addressing technical challenges during implementation
• Document all phases of the project, providing detailed project reports
• Assist with administrative tasks such as meeting scheduling, record preparation, and supporting project leads

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Science, or a related field

Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical fabrication engineering or related role

Languages: Professional in English

Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Strong knowledge of materials science and fabrication processes
• Understanding of applied mathematics and fluid mechanics
• Ability to interpret scientific and technical documents
